A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2,
R. D. COLE COMPANY CONTRACT, IN THE AMOUNT of
ADDITIONAL SUM OF $98.00, PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE
DATE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
WHEREAS, The Construction Engineers of the City of Fort Walton Beach,
Florida, have recommended the acceptance of Change Order #2, with the
R. D. Cole Company, on their contract for the construction of a Ground
Storage Reservoir to the City Water Supply Plant, in the amount of
$98.00, and
WHEREAS, this change is deemed prudent and expedient,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1; That Change Order No. 2 in the Ground Storage Reservoir in the
amount of $98.00, is hereby authorized and the contract is to be increased
by said amount.
SECTION 2: That in order to provide for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health, safety and welfare, this resolution is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure and shall take effect immediately after its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
