at RESOLUTION 7&- 47 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO EXECUTE THE ATTACHED DEED AND GRANTING AN OPTION TO SCOTT STEEL, INC. PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNTIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WAL''ON BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION I. The City Manager, on behalf of the City of Fort Walton Beach, is hereby authorized to execute the attached Warranty Deed to Scott Ste@l, Inc., on payment of a sum of money set forth in the said bid from Scott Steel, Inc. SECTION II. That the City hereby grants. to Scott Steel, Inc., an option to purchase the property hereinafter described for the sum of $5,000.00 per acre, which option shall be in full force and effect within the period of 24 months from the date hereof on the property described as follows: Begin at the SE corner of Section 8, Township 2 South, Range 24 West, Okaloosa County, Florida. Proceed N 87° 27' 15" W along section line 489.99 feet to the Point of Beginning (POB). Thence continue N 87° 27' 15" W 340.97 feet to the east side of 100 foot wide State Road right-of-way, thence N 1° 15' 15" E along said R/W 530.46 feet to the south R/W of Anchors Street, thence S 87° 24' E 340.59 feet thence S 1° 13' W 530.21 feet to the POB. The above described tract contains 4.149 acres. SECTION III. This resolution being of administrative nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. The Optionor shall have the first right of refusal to repurchase the property in the event that the Optionee desires to sell the same, all as set forth in the policies of the City of Fort Walton Beach on previous conveyances. 5.
