"RESOLUTION NO. (7/9 -A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STATE ROAD BOARD OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO CONSTRUCT A FOUR~LANE HIGHWAY FROM THE CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA AREA CONNECTING WITH INTERSTATE 10 TO THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, PRO- VIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE EREOF, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the City Council on behalf of the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby request the State Road Board and State Road Department to immediately construct a four~lLane highway to the City of Fort Walton Beach from the Crestview, Plorida area connecting with Interstate 10. | | | SECTION 2. That such a four-lane highway would enhance tourist travel from Interstate 10 into the Fort Walton Beach area and would Facilitate travel for local residents. SECTION 3.
