STATEMENT OF ISSUE: [PUR] Seeking Board approval to purchase One (1) National 1469H
Truck Mounted Crane for Water & Sewer. (WS 29-14)
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: The Water & Sewer Department has requested the purchase
of one truck mounted crane. Bids were opened on April 9, 2014 and one bid was received.
Corwin Equipment Company submitted a bid meeting specifications for a total cost of $347,961.
Funding is available in the Water & Sewer FY14 budget.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny purchase of One (1) National 1469H Truck Mounted Crane (WS 29-
14) from Corwin Equipment Company for $347,961.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approving purchase of One (1) National 1469H
Truck Mounted Crane (WS 29-14) from Corwin Equipment Company for $347,961.
