ENTITLED A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THK TOWN OF FORT WALTON, FLORIDA URGING AND REQUESTING THE HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY CORKISS@ IONERS OF CKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA TO INCLUDE IN THEIR BUDGET FOR THE WEXT FISCAL YEAR EREAPPROPRIATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ROGERS - HINSON POST # 235 OF THE AMERICAN LEGION, FORT WALTON, FLORIDA. WHEREAS the Rogers - Hinson Post No. 235 of the American Legion, Fort Walton, Florida, is now planning the construction of a "h@me | bd for the said post, and WHEREAS the American Legion-is an orgenization dedicated to the protedétion of our democracy and to the welfare of those who were called upon to defend this Nation against its enemies, and the County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida have on previous occassions appropriated monies for the benefit of American Legions Posts in other Towns of the County, and WHEREAS the County Commissioners will socn prepare and adopt a budget of expenditures for the next fiseal year. Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVSD BY THE FOWN CONCIL OF THE TOWN OF FORT WALTON, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: “= 1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida, be and the same is hereby requested and urged to appropriate a sua of money for the benefit of the Rogers ~ Hinson Post No. 235 of the American Legion at Fort Walton, Florida for the Construction of a post "home" equal to that previously — appropriated for the benefit of other Legion Foats in the County, and that same be included in the County Budget, and be made avail- able during the next fiscal year. | | ADoPTED__¥ - 9-50 AF PROWED ) | yor
