AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THE
EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. That under the provisions of Section 171. 044 of
the Florida Statutes, the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby annexes
the following tract of land to the City of Fort Walton Beach:
Northwest 1/ 4 of the Northwest 1/ 4 of the Southwest 1/ 4
of Section 35, Township 1 South, Range 24 West, Okaloosa
County, Florida, according to plat thereof on file in the
Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Okaloosa County,
Florida, containing 10 acres more or less.
Subject to easements and restrictions of record.
SECTION II. The City limits of the City of Fort Walton Beach
shall be hereafter defined to include the aforesaid property.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take effect ten ( 10) days
after its passage and approval by the Mayor.

A bill to be entitled
An act
relating to Okaloosa County; extending
the territorial boundaries and corporate limits
of the City of Fort Walton Beach to include
certain lands; providing an effective date.
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
Section I. The territorial boundaries and corporate
limits of the City of. Fort Walton Beach are hereby extended so
as to include therein the following described lands in
O kaloosa County:
Beginning at the NE corner of the NW 1/ 4 of the SE 1/ 4
of Section 27, Township 1 South Range 24 West, proceed south
600 feet along quarter section line; thence west 1304 feet,
more or* less, to the Air Force boundary; thence north 600 feet
more or less, to NW corner of the M7 1/ 4 of the SE 1/ 4; thence
east 1304 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becomina a
law.
