BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL or THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager on behalf of the City of
Fort Walton Beach is hereby authorized to borrow from
American National Bank and Trust Company
of Mobile, Alabama, if local sources not aTailable) sums of money
not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars for the purpose of making street
imprOTements.
SECTION 2. That tae sums of mOBey borrowed fro.
American lational Bank and Trust Company
of Mobile, Alabama, if local sources not aTailable) shall be evideaced
by promissory nQtes and shall be repayable according to the teras of
said Bote, the form of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
and the said notes shall be secured by a pledge of the City of the
collection of the utility tax revenues that are Rot otherwise pledged
as of the date of the promissory note or notes and/ or the proceeds of
the sale of any future sewer certificates prior to the retirement of
the indebtedness eTidenced by the promissory motes.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager on behalf of the City of
Fort Walton Beach is authorized to execute such instruments as may be
necessary to effectuate the borrowing and repayment of the monies to
American National Bank and
Trust Company of Mobile, Alabama, if local sources not available}.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution being of an administrative
nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval by the Mayor.
