Motion
was duly made and seconded that the re-
quirement be waived for the small used-
car office portion of the construction.
Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Hedrick stated that matters of this
type would be better handled by the City
Manager and City Inspectors, and that
council should not always have to consider
these small "nuts and bolts" matters.
Mr. Palmer inquired if buildings that have
been condemned in the urban renewal area
could not be gotten rid of as they were
dangerous and made a bad appearance. He
was informed that at the last LPA meeting,
they had been instructed to bulldoze,
tear down, or allow the fire department
to use them for training purposes.
Mr. Palmer inquired of City Manager if
something could be done about the con-
tinued bad odors from the sewer plant
on Hollywood. City Manager said that
they would use more chemicals to correct
this.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:15p.m.
