ORDINANCE NO. 7i
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE
DATE HEREOF.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI' T`Y
OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. That under the provisions of Section 171. 04
of the Florida Statutes the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby annexes
the following tract of land to the City of Fort Walton Beach:
Begin at the SE corner of SW 1/ 4 of NE 1/ 4 of Sec. 34, T I S,
R 24 W and proceed north 695. 00 ft. to a point and thence
west 440 ft. to point of beginning; thence north 990 ft. to
a point; thence east 440 ft.; thence sough 958. 39 ft. to a
point on the north boundary of Florida State Road No. 189,
thence southwest 65. 61 feet along the boundary of said State
Road to a point, thence west 374. 51 ft. more or less to the
point of beginning; LESS AND EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
Commence at SE corner of SW 1/ 4 of NE 1/ 4 of Sec. 34, T I S,
R 24 W, and proceed north 695 ft. to a point and thence west
440 ft. to the point of beginning of the tract of Land herein
conveyed; thence go north 468. 52 ft.; thence go east 219. 5S ft.,
thence go south 468. 52 ft.; thence go west 219. 55 ft, to the
point of beginning.
SECTION II. The above- described property shall be zoned
M- 1 upon annexation to the City.
SECTION III. The City Limits of the City of Fort Walton
Beach shall be hereafter defined to include the aforesaid property.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall. take effect ten ( 10)
days after its passage and approval by the Mayor..
