far as he knew, every thins in the Police Dpt~ was in harmony and if he
issued a ticket prior to 8 A. M. his watch must have been fast. Durin:

Mr. Lindsey then recommended that ticket
on Hudson Car issued
before 8 A. M.be cancelled. Motion was made by W. J. Roberts, seconded
by C. W. Pratt,
that Fire and Police COmDlissioners post be abolished!
that the Mayor have control of Fire and Police Departments, that a 1
police officers be under Mr. McDaniel' s jurisdiction, that the Mayor
or in his absence, the Mayor Protem, issue Mr. MDDaniel his instructions.
Vote in favor unanimous.
