A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE RESOLUTION HERE-
TOFORE PASSED BY THE PLAYGROUND CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE RECOMMENDING THAT THE OKALOOSA
COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CREATE
A POSITION FOR A COUNTY ENTINEER AND HIRE
SUCH AN INDIVIDUAL AT THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE
DATE.
Whereas, the Playground Chamber of Commerce did 0t}
the 18th day of May, 1962, Resolution
pass a
recommending
to the Okaloosa County Board of Commissioners that they
create a position for a County Engineer and hire such an
individual for such position at the earliest possible date,
and,
Whereas, the said Resolution set forth the imperative
need for such a position to be immediately filled, now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the City Council hereby endorses the Resolu-
tion heretofore passed by the Playground' Chamber
of Commerce recommending to the Okaloosa County
Board of Commissioners that the position of
County Engineer be immediately created and that
an individual be hired for such position at the
earliest possible date.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and approval by the
Mayor.
