SUMMARY
Pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 2- 266, Purchasing policies and procedures,
Fort Walton Beach Code of Ordinances, request au~ horization purchase one ( 1)
Flatbed Truck with Dump Body under the provisions of the Florida State
12'
Contract from Truck and Engine Corporation, Lawrenceville,
International
Georgia, for a total cost of $ 45, 101. 00. This vehicle will replace Vehicle
i2263, a 1989 Chevrolet Flatbed Truck with 75, 588 miles.
According to City' s Purchasing Policy, the City may procure, without
the
formal bid procedures, all supplies, materials and equipment which are the
subject of contracts with the State of Florida as set forth in Section 287 of
the Florida Statutes, as amended from time to time.
If approved, sufficient funds are available in Account No. 001- 5121- 541- 6997,
in the amount of $ 50, 000. 00.
