RESOLUTION NO. 58- 48 A RESOLUTION TO BE ENTITLED A RESOLUTION GRANTING. A THIRTY DAY EXTENSION FOR ALL OCCUPATIONAL LICENSEES IN FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF WHEREAS, there has been a recent election and an addition ot several new members to the Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and WHEREAS, additional time was desired for various Council mem- bers to study the occupational license ordinance in effect in the City of Fort Walton Beach, and WHEREAS, pending such study, several licensees have requested that they be given additional time for the payment of said license fees without penalty, and WHEREAS, the Council desires and deems it necessary to give an additional ten day peried without delay, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA SECTION 1: That all penalties tor occupatiQnal lieenses tor the fiscal year 1958- 59 are hereby held in abeyance tor an additional period of 30 days and no penalty will be levied against any licensee by the City of Fort Walton Beaoh, Florida, until, on and after August 31, 1958. SECTION 2: That for the preservation of the public peace and welfare ot the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, this resolution is declared to be an emergency and shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, and any penalties heretofore assessed shall be retunded to the appropriate licensee paying same.
