A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO PURCHASE CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FROM JACKSON LAND COMPANY AND TO EXECUTE
THE NECESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO EFFECTUATE THE SAID SALE,
PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON

BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The City Manager on behalf of the City of
Fort Walton Beach is hereby authorized to purchase the fol-
lowing described real property from Jackson Land Company:
Lots 67 through 76, inclusive, Sea
Breeze Subdivision as recorded in
Plat Book 1, at Page 22 of the Public
Records of Okaloosa County, Florida
SECTION 2. That the purchase price of said property
will be $ 250, 000 with $ 50, 000 to be paid down and a note and
mortgage to be given for $ 200, 000 to bear interest at 6% per
annum and be due and payable in five equal annual installments
of principal plus the accrued interest and the City Manager is
authorized to execute said note and mortgage on behalf of the
City of Fort Walton Beach.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
