He circulated a rendering showing the structure from Highway 98 and described their intent to remodel the current structure within the current footprint, possible plans for a connecting road from Perry to the City parking lot, and possible future development depending on the outcome of future purchases, density requirements, and zoning. Following the comment on the redundancy of the CRA Board and the Municipal Planning Board over the review of proposed developments, the CDS Director explained any development within the CRA District would go before the CRA Board for site plan review and recommendation to City Council; the Municipal Planning Board is charged with any proposed changes to the Comprehensive Plan, changes to the development standards or rezoning changes and recommendation to City Council. She noted any development standard changes or rezoning changes within the CRA District are taken to the CRA Board for informational purposes only.
