CDBG Fund Budget Amendment 18 The City received a $ 10, 000 donation from the Okaloosa Community 19 Development Corporation for the World Changers program. The North American Mission Board, SBC .has set the project dates from July 12th to July 17th and there will be approximately 175 students and 50 adults attending. The City understands that everyone is financially challenged with the present state of the economy. Because of this funding allocations have decreased for everyone who receives grant money. The City hopes that you will be able to support the World Changers project and truly appreciates anything you can do. Our goal this year is to reroof and /or paint approximately 21 homes. As we are all aware, the price of building materials for this project continues to grow. The City's. CDBG program contributes $ 35, 000 to this project annually. With this said we are asking for your financial support for this project, which will assist in purchasing the roofing and painting materials needed to complete 21 homes. if you have any questions, I can be reached at 333 -9605.
