A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ‘THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA,
TO AUTHORIZE THE USE OF SECONDARY ROAD FUNDS
OF THE COUNTY FOR A STUDY BY THE DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION OF A CERTAIN INTERSECTION WITH-
IN THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, PROVIDING
THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. That the City Council on behalf of
the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby requests the Board of
County Commissioners to adopt a resolution authorizing the
use of secondary road funds for the study of traffic signal
devices at the intersection of Country Club and Mooney Road
within Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida.
SECTION II. That said study must be made by the
Florida Department of Transportation and the cost of such
study must now be paid from secondary road funds of the county
in that Mooney Road is a secondary road in Okaloosa County.
SECTION III. This resolution being of administrative
nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
