RESOLUTION NO. 2010-8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2009 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2010 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO
APPROPRIATIONS OF CITY FUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authority
Resolution 2009-40, adopted on September 16, 2009, authorizes amendments to
the FY 2009-10 budget by resolution.
Section 2. CRA Fund Budget Amendment
Pursuant to 163.387(6)(d), Fla. Stat. (2009), City Council authorized up to
$10,000 for demolition of the existing structures on property located at 25 Miracle Strip
Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, which is within the CRA Area and which is an
environmentally contaminated site and up to $25,000 to purchase the tax certificate on
the property. Therefore, there is appropriated $35,000 from undesignated fund balance,
increasing the CRA Fund budget from $1,784,249 to $1,819,729.
Section 3. Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council
and signature by the Mayor.
