Program Year 2013-2014 ITA Request for Waiver (Chapter 2012-29)
The Workforce Development Board is requesting the approval to submit a waiver request of the WIA
50% Individual Training Account (ITA) training requirement for Program Year 2013-2014 to the
Workforce Florida, Inc. With budget consideration, it is determined that a Waiver Request is needed for
Workforce Development Board Program year 2013-14.
The ITA Expenditure Waiver request for Program Year 2013-14 is a reduction of the established 50% to
35%. The reduced funds will be allocated as allowed in the use of upfront job search activities needed
for job placement.
