BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: July 21, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Sunil Harman SUBJECT: Final Payment and contract close out -Diversified Maintenance dba Rite Way Service, LLC DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Airports requests approval of the final invoice payment to Diversified Maintenance dba Rite Way Service, LLC in the amount of Five Thousand Twenty Dollars and Twenty-Six Cents ($5,020.26) and to close the Rite Way contract. BACKGROUND: On June 6, 2011, the Board approved Rite Way Service, LLC contract for janitorial services at the Destin - Fort Walton Beach Airport. The Rite Way Service, LLC contract expired on June 6, 2015. The County went out for competitive bidding and another company has been selected and is currently providing the service. The closeout checklist and final payment documents for Diversified Maintenance dba Rite Way Service, LLC are attached. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that the Board approve this final payment and close out of the Diversified Maintenance dba Rite Way Service, LLC. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
