(C14-2158-TDD) BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On March 10, 2014 the Board approved a contract with Genesis Group for general engineering and technical consulting services for the Tourist Development Department. The contract allows for one (1) three-year renewal. Genesis Group and County staff have agreed to exercise the three-year renewal to extend the expiration date through September 30, 2019. Recent legislative action requires that language regarding public records requests be added to all contracts that will be valid after July 1, 2016. Staff is incorporating the language as an amendment and including the contract renewal option within the document. Staff requests Board authorization for the Chairman to sign the document. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny Amendment No. 3 to the Genesis Group contract and authorize the Chairman to sign the document. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 3 to the Genesis Group contract and authorize the Chairman to sign the document.
