The Board of County Commissioners received four (4) responsive bids for the project. The Total Base Bid was for a supply and installation of a 25’x45’ pre-engineered metal building with concrete slab, hvac system, electrical and permitting. Jimmy Henderson II Construction was the lowest bidder meeting all the qualification requirements specified in the contract documents. Jimmy Henderson is a local contractor with previous experience in the construction of metal buildings in Okaloosa County. Pursuant to the bids received for the above referenced project, Constantine Engineering, Inc. recommends that the Board of County Commissioners, Okaloosa County, Florida, award this project to the Jimmy Henderson II Construction the lowest and most responsive base bid for a lump sum total of $209,477.00 with a substantial completion time of 120 Days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
