Presentation of quarterly reports on tourism promotion and marketing campaigns as required by Ordinance 14-08. BACKGROUND: Financial and marketing updates are provided monthly to the Tourist Development Council (TDC). The financial update aggregates budget to actual information for the tourist development department overall, as well as by categories within each bed tax percentage (the “level of restriction”). To present the most up-to-date information, data is provided as of July 21 (rather than June 30 quarter-end). The Tourist Development Council will review the Financial Update at its July 30 meeting. The marketing and sales update for the quarter ending June 30 summarizes the activities of the convention & visitors bureau, convention center, and advertising agency. The Tourist Development Council has been apprised of these activities. OPTIONS: n/a RECOMMENDATION: For informational purposes only; no action required.
