SUBJECT: Williams Electric Hangars Relinquish

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed termination of hangar leases by Williams Electric, Inc.,
Mr. Harvey Williams, of Block 3 Lots 3 and 4 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport is being
presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: Williams Electric, Inc., Mr. Harvey Williams, entered into a Lease for
Hangar space for Block 3 Lot 3 and Block 3 Lot 4 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport. Mr.
Williams is requesting to relinquish these two hangars back to the County. Mr. Williams is in
compliance with all terms and conditions of both leases. We would like to demolish this
structure and build t-hangars. The t-hangars will bring in additional income. Mr. Dowd's
approval is attached.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the termination
of these two leases as described above.
