RE: Award Recommendation — 12" Ave. Sidewalk Addition, Shalimar
Okaloosa County Public Works has reviewed the bid schedules received for the above subject project.
The bids provided are consistent with the approved plans and specifications. Given that FDOT has
awarded additional funds via LAP Supplemental Agreement in order to match the low bid, Public
Works recommends moving forward with the award of this contract to the apparent lowest responsive
bidder.
Main Street Construction Services, L.L.C. was the apparent lowest responsive bidder and has submitted
a corrected bid total of $186,665.50. Public Works recommends acceptance of Main Street’s bid and
requests that the construction contract be awarded. Should you have any questions please feel free to
