The Contract is amended as follows: The Okaloosa County Water & Sewer Department and Horizons of Okaloosa County currently maintain the referenced contract for Landscape Maintenance. Horizons of Okaloosa County has requested a lump sum increase of $3,348.00 for an annual total lump sum of $45,144.00. In addition Okaloosa County has requested a change in Scope of the contract to include flowerbed maintenance at the Arbennie Pritchett WRF, twice/per year (Spring and Fall) for an increase of $480.00 annually. The current annual lump sum of the contract is $41,796.00. The requested increase and the change in scope of the contract will be an increase for a total annual lump sum of $45,624.00 . The updated scope of service is outlined in attachment 1 and the annual lump sum will be billed in monthly increments of $3,802.00. This contract shall be renewable upon successful performance and written agreement by both parties for additional one (1) year periods. We request renewal of this contract pursuant to the schedule of work (Attachment 1). The annual lump sum price is $45,144 to be billed in monthly increments of $3,762. We propose a 3 year contract. We have been asked to bid on the flowerbeds, with the scope of work to include cutting everything back in the beds, mulching, one time in the Spring and one time in the Fall. We can add that to the scope of work for an additional $480, bringing the annual lump sum to $45,624 and the monthly increments to $3,802. The flowerbed work would he performed in March and October.
