SUBJECT: Byrne Memorial Assistance Grant - Certificate of Participation
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice
Assistance Grant (JAG) Program JAG Countywide - State Solicitation, has allocated $75,150 to
Okaloosa County to be used by local units of government.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement requires the Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners to complete and return a Certificate of Participation form notifying whether
Okaloosa County accepts or declines serving as the coordinating unit of government for this
grant program and appointing a designated person for coordination and preparation of
applications for grant funding.
The Contracts & Grants department has reviewed the Certificate of Participation.
