RE: Crown Castle Niceville — Bluewater Bay DRI Amendment
Request for 90 day Continuance
Dear Mr. Kampert:
As you may recall, Crown Castle's (Crown) aforementioned application was continued by the Board of
County Commissioners to the October 1, 2013 hearing in order for Crown to host a town hall meeting,
currently scheduled for September 25, and to reach out to the property owner on which the existing tower
is located regarding extending the current agreement.
Crown learned earlier today that the Porter family recently experienced a death within their immediate
family. While time is of the essence to resolve this matter, in an effort to negotiate in good faith, Crown
respects this family's right to grieve. As such, Crown respectfully request a 90 day continuance for all
matters pending before Okaloosa County: DRI Amendment, Variance and Project Approval. The town
hall meeting will proceed on September 25.
Please confirm whether my attendance will be required to make this request in person at the following
meetings:
e October 1, 2013 Board of County Commissioners;
e November 13, 2013 Board of Adjustment;
November 14, 2013 Planning Commission;
November 19, 2013 Board of County Commissioners.
So that I may reserve the new hearing dates on my calendar and take into account travel, please provide
me with the new hearing dates once you have had the opportunity to review this request.
