VISITOR SHERIFF ' S OFFICE , SUPPLEMENTAL FY #2016 FUNDING REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL DEPUTY AND COURTHOUSE SCREENER Major Greg Gaddis , Sheriff ' s Department , said this request for additional funding results from the closure of the Crestview Courthouse , relocation of court operations to various locations throughout the County , and the request from Mr . Peacock for a Deputy in the Court Operations Center in Crestview and said a total of $65 , 577 is the estimated cost for the remainder of this fiscal year . Mr. Hof st ad said they will meet with Finance to determine a funding source. Mr . Harris made motion , seconded by Mrs . Ketchel , to approve supplemental FY #2016 funding request for an additional Deputy and courthouse screener . Boyles said he appreciates the Sheriff ' s and Clerk ' s ongoing partnership and will def er to them regarding their needs but appreciates if overtime be minimized with the two positions over this two-year process . Mr . Doug Gaylord , Finance Director , Sheriff ' s Department , said the Sheriff ' s Department will try not to use overtime . He said the Department is fairly lean and stated in October the positions will be added to the Sheriff ' s budget which takes away overtime , but benefits for the two positions have to be factored in .
