STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A lease renewal for Michael Koran from December 1, 2013 to
November 30, 2014.
BACKGROUND: On November 19, 2009, Mr. Michael Koran entered into a Board approved
agreement with Okaloosa County to lease his building adjacent to the perimeter fence of the
Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport for use as an airport maintenance office and storage area.
Request is being made for authorization to renew this lease for an additional year. The contract
renewal form, contract and lease internal coordination sheet, and the certificate of insurance is
attached.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the lease
renewal as described above.
