Dear Ms. Cardreon,
The Choctawhatchee High School Cheerleaders wish to begin an annual 5k race to assist
in the promotion of College Awareness in association with National College Colors Day. This
event will also assist the Cheerleaders in raising the funds needed to travel to Regional, State,
and National competitions where they are known for winning high awards.
The citizens of Okaloosa County will be invited to participate in the 1* Annual College Colors 5k
Run taking place on August 30", 2014. The race will take place down Santa Rosa Blvd and we
have received approval from Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office as well as requested the
assistance of the Posse for additional safety. We will conduct this event between the hours of
8:00-11:00 am. Accompanying this letter is proof of liability insurance provided through
Okaloosa County Schools.
