14. Final Records: Submit a final estimate (electronic format) for the project at this time.
Coordinate Consultant hours after project completion with the Okaloosa County Construction Project
Manager for approval.
15. Project Claims: Prepare documentation and assist in the defense of Okaloosa County, when
requested, in preparation for Claims or possible Claims resulting in the execution of the contract.
16. Utility Relocations: Utility relocations associated with this contract will be observed by the
Consultant. Relocations that are reimbursable will be inspected for quantities that will be reviewed and
verified, comparing utility company records prior to payment by Okaloosa County. Utility relocations
by other utility providers will require some coordination efforts by the Consultant with assistance
from the Okaloosa County Construction Project Manager.
17. Plan Review: Review submitted construction plans from the design engineers prior to
construction for completion, comments, concerns and observations.
18. Citizen Interface: The Consultant shall provide project status updates and information related to
traffic pattern changes and impacts to the traveling public to the Okaloosa County Construction
Project Manager. Okaloosa County shall be responsible for dissemination of the information to the
Public and as applicable to the FDOT Public Information Office. Okaloosa County shall be
responsible for the coordination and publication of all public notices related to construction of the
project.
19. Contract time: Work authorized for this contract will be the same time allotted for the
construction contract. Two hundred and forty (240) calendar days have been established by bid
documents.
