RE: Contract Renewal between Oasis Management Systems
and Okaloosa County Department of Corrections
Dear Mr. Evancho:
The Okaloosa County Department of Corrections agrees to renew the subject
contract/lease, # C10-1795-COR for an additional term. The contract renewal period
will be October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014. The current contract expires on
September 30, 2013 and allows for two one year renewals; this is the first renewal.
This contract is a revenue generating contract. Currently Okaloosa County
Department receives a 40.1% commission on items sold to inmates through the
Commissary. A proposed menu with modest price increases has been reviewed and
will increase the commissions payable to Okaloosa County from 40.1% to 42%.
All other aspects of the contract shall remain in full force and effect.
