STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request the Board to ratify the employment agreement negotiated
between the BCC Chairman and Mr. Ernest Padgett.
BACKGROUND: On April 2, 2013, the Board selected Mr. Ernest Padgett to fill the position
of County Administrator and authorized the Chairman to begin negotiations with Mr. Padgett.
