1. BACKGROUND:

In order to fulfill the requirements of Section 376.80, Florida Statutes, the City must
announce prior to an upcoming public hearing that it intends to designate a Brownfield area
in the City,
2. DISCUSSION:
2. 1. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. to designate a
Brownfield area in the City at 25 Miracle Strip Parkway SW.
3. FINANCIAL INFORMATION:
3. 1. This item has no direct financial impact to the City.

4. 1. There is no Staff recommendation; the only requirement is to announce the upcoming
public hearing.
