Table 3
FY 2013 SECTION 5307 AND SECTION 5340 URBANIZED AREA APPORTIONMENTS'
The total available amount for a program is based on funding authorized under The Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st
Century Act (MAP-21), (Pub. L 112-141, 2012) and appropriated pursuant to the Continuing Appropriations Resolution,
2013 (CR) (Pub. L. 112-17).
Note: In accordance with MAP-21, this table shows the amounts attributable to each State of a Multi-State Urbanized Area over 200,000
in population. These amounts are for illustrative purposes only. Designated recipients shall continue to sub-allocate funds allocated to
an urbanized area based on a locally determined process, consistent with Section 5307 statutory requirements. Each State's share of a
multi-state urbanized area was calculated on the basis of the percentage of population and population density attributable to the States in
the UZA and (in the cases of areas over 200,000 in population) on the basis of the National Transit Database data that was attributable to
providers headquartered in the States located within the Multi-State Urbanized Area.
10/16/12 Note: This table has been revised to correct rounding errors and make a technical correction to the Burlington, VT and
U.S. Virgin Islands apportionments
