BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: October 6, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Sunil Harman SUBJECT: Romjue Advertising Task Order #16 DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 1, 2, and 5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Airports request the Board of County Commissioners approve Task Order No.16 with Romjue Advertising & Company for media buying, marketing and advertising services in the amount of $250,000.00. Services provided are in accordance with the agreement for media buying, marketing and advertising services, Contract No. C12-2006-AP #16 BACKGROUND: On December 4, 2012, the Board of County Commissioners entered into an agreement with Romjue Advertising & Company for the provision of media buying, marketing and advertising services in order to promote the Okaloosa County Airports. BCC approved FY16 budgeted line items include: 4201-548001 for Promotional Activities at Destin - Fort Walton Beach Airport in the amount of $300,000 4220-248001 for Promotional Activities at the Bob Sikes Airport in the amount of $7,400. Task Order No. 16 would authorize Romjue Advertising & Company, under the direction of airport staff, to perform services and purchase media as outlined in the attached Marketing Proposal, not to exceed $250,000 retroactive to October 1, 2015 for expenses incurred prior to the Chairman's signature on Task Order No. 16. A summary description of the marketing proposal is attached. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve Task Order No. 16 with Romjue Advertising & Company for media buying, marketing and advertising services in the amount of $250,000.00, as well as any expenses incurred during the month of October 2015 prior to the Chairman's signature. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
