A RESOLUTION OF THE TOURIST DEVELOPEMNT COUNCIL OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THE PUBLIC A REASONABLE OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 268.0114, FLORIDA STATUTES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature enacted Chapter 2013-227, Laws of Florida, which meetings; and WHEREAS, Section 286.0114, F.S., effective October 1, 2013, requires that every board or commission of any county provide a reasonable opportunity to be heard on a proposition coming before that board or commission; and WHEREAS, Section 286.0114, F.S., allows, but does not require, a board or commission to enact r ; and WHEREAS, the resolution for the purposes of carrying out the intent of Section 268.0114, F.S. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: RECITALS The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are incorporated into this Resolution. SECTION 2: PUBLIC PARTICIPATION A. Right to be Heard.
