BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: July 19, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Amendment #1 to West Florida Regional Planning Council Transit Cooperative Agreement DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Growth Management requests to amend the contract with West Florida Regional Planning Council Transit Cooperative Agreement for Professional Staff Services. BACKGROUND: Okaloosa County recently approved contract #C16-2378-GM with the West Florida Regional Planning Council to provide Professional Staff Services to the Transit Cooperative. This contract amendment would amend the cost and payment section of that contract which specifies that this is a fixed-rate contract with a flat-fee billable rate per month of $2,666.67. The invoices submitted will entail a description of the work performed for that month. Neither the total cost of the contract nor the scope of services being provided are affected by this requested amendment. OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove the amendment to the West Florida Regional Planning Contract. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Amendment #1 to WFRPC's Professional Staff Services Contract #C16-2378- GM to allow clarification that this is a fixed-rate contract with a flat-fee billable rate per month.
