With the current contract expiring on September 30 2013, staff has obtained bids from a qualified vendor to provide concrete that we need in order to continue with these operations. Staff recommends award of the bid to Fort Walton Concrete, Inc. as the sole bidder. We estimate that we use approximately $48,000 in concrete on an annual basis. The material is budget through our Maintenance Materials Budget and other project specific uses as paid for by gas taxes in this instance (see attached).
