STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to advertise the attached RFQ for Design Services
for a New 10,000 s.f., more or less, 2-Story Office Building at the Sheriff's Shalimar Offices.
BACKGROUND: At the BCC meeting on December 3rd, 2013, the Board directed staff to
prepare an RFQ to solicit design services from qualified firms to design a new 10,000 s.f., more
or less, 2-story office building at the Sheriff's administrative facility in Shalimar. The proposed
schedule of fees for those design services will be brought back to the BCC for final approval and
funding.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Request approval to advertise the attached RFQ for Design Services
for a New 10,000 s.f., more or less, 2-Story Office Building at the Sheriff's Shalimar Offices and
approve the recommended Selection Committee.
