BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: August 18, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Rick Owen SUBJECT: Update on AGO Report and response DEPARTMENT: County Administrator BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff requests Board discussion and approval of responses to the P&T findings report from the Auditor General Office's follow-up to the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners and Clerk of the Circuit Court Audit dated July, 2015. BACKGROUND: The Auditor General's office conducted follow-up actions to the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners and Clerk of the Circuit Court dated October, 2013. At the conclusion of the activity, the P&T Findings Report was transmitted from the Auditor General's Office dated July 31, 2015, and staff drafted responses. These responses, along with the P&T Report are attached. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove responses to P&T findings report. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of responses to the P&T findings report from the Auditor General Office's follow-up to the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners and Clerk of the Circuit Court Audit dated July, 2015.
