Copies of this ordinance, as well as hearing information procedures, are available in the Community Development Services Office who provides administrative support to the Code Enforcement Board. The purpose of this Board is to facilitate the enforcement of certain codes of the City of Fort Walton Beach by creating a Board of seven citizens who may quickly and fairly render decisions concerning violations of these codes. Should you be found in violation of the City Code, the Code Enforcement Board has the power by law to levy fines up to $ 250.00 per day against you and your property for every day that any violation continues beyond the date set in an Order of the Board for Compliance. The Board may also impose an administrative fee which is estimated to be $ 325. 00 to compensate the City for actual costs for prosecution for this Hearing.
