BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: August 18, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: David Skarzynski, Budget Manager : Dist All SUBJECT: Budget Resolutions & Transfers STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Budget Resolutions & Transfers. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, General Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) for state aid for mosquito control/arthropod control grant, in the amount of $31,540. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, General Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to provide non-sponsored transportation trips and/or capital equipment to the non-sponsored transportation disadvantaged in accordance with the Transportation Disadvantage Trust Fund grant, in the amount of $464,946. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, Local Housing Authority Trust Special Revenue Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) for state initiatives partnership program (SHIP), grant, in the amount of $492,672. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, County Public Health Fund, did not reflect adequate appropriations for other miscellaneous revenue equipment received from the State, in the amount of $19,802. BT-15-37 Airport Enterprise Fund. Provide car facility charges (CFC) funding for ground transportation project at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport, in the amount of $100,000. BT-15-38 Road/Bridge Construction Fund. Transferring project balances and reserves to overlay projects, in the amount of $174,348. RECOMMENDATION: Staff requests Board approval of attached Budget Resolutions & Transfers.
