OVS Waiver, 01-0303 Okaloosa County Department of Corrections
We request approval for an OVS Waiver. We are requesting this wavier because all meal components are served to
the client to meet their nutritional needs. The facility cannot accommodate the space and equipment required to
prepare and offer numerous items to the clients. In addition, Florida Model Jail Standards prohibit the department
from providing substantially different meals to one group of inmates at any particular meal.
Effective Date: 1 July 2014 thru 30 June 2015
