SUBJECT: Koran Lease Final Payment

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed final payment in the amount of $3,600.00 for the
Michael Koran Lease at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport is being presented to the Board of
County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: On November 19, 2009 the Board approved the Michael Koran Lease for the
Airport to lease a building located at 1197 Airport Road, Destin, owned by Mr. Koran for use by
the Department of Airports for administrative office space and airfield maintenance equipment
storage. The property is no longer needed by the Department of Airport. The final payment
form is attached and the lease will expire on November 30, 2014.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve this final
payment request as described above.
