Statement of Issue: Request approval of the contract renewals with the following list of
vendors and contracts for the next year. The contract’s effective date are all October 1, 2013.
C14-2095-PW CW Roberts - Limerock, Limestone & Asphalt milling material
C14-2083-PW CW Roberts - Asphalt Materials
C14-2085-PW APAC Mid South - Limerock, Limestone & Asphalt milling material
C14-2082-PW APAC Mid South - Asphalt Materials
C14-2091-PW Anderson Columbia, Inc. - Lime rock, Limestone & Asphalt milling material
C14-2084-PW Anderson Columbia, Inc. - Asphalt materials
C14-2074-PW Vulcan Materials Co. - Limerock, Limestone & Asphalt milling material
C14-2108-PW Southern Rock & Lime, Inc. - Limerock, Limestone & Asphalt milling material
C12-1990-PW Gulf Coast Traffic Engineering, Inc. - Miscellaneous Road Striping Services
Background: Public Works has budget line items approved to provide funds for the following
materials/services: Asphalt Materials, Limerock/Limestone/Asphalt Millings, and Road
Striping. These contract renewals reflect no increase in annual expense versus the previous
years' contracts.
C14-2095-PW, C14-2083-PW, C14-2085-PW, C14-2082-PW, C14-2091-PW, C14-2084-PW,
C14-2074-PW, C14-2108-PW, & C12-1990-PW will be renewed for one year.
Options: Approve/disapprove
Recommendations: Staff requests Board approval for the contract renewals with CW Roberts,
APAC Mid South, Anderson Columbia, Inc., Vulcan Materials, Inc., and Gulf Coast Traffic
Engineers respectively and authorize the Chairman to sign the contract renewals.
