BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: March 18, 2014 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Brownstones Phase I Plat approval DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: 5 - Commissioner Windes ISSUE: To review the final plat for Brownstones Phase I at Kelly Plantation, a proposed 4 lot single family attached (townhome) residential subdivision as submitted by Matt Zinke with Gustin, Cothern, & Tucker on behalf of the property owner, KPH3, LLC. The property is currently zoned Mixed Use 2 (MU 2) with the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation of Mixed use 2 (MU2). The property is located within the boundary of Kelly Plantation Planned Unit Development (PUD) Master Site Plan with a designation of Future Parcel #4, amended on May 21, 2013. The general location of the property is north of Kelly Plantation Drive, west of One Water Place Condominium, Destin. Property contains 5.69 acres more or less. BACKGROUND: Development Order (DO) for Brownstones at Kelly Plantation was issued on July 23, 2013 for a 23 lot single family attached (townhome) residential subdivision. PUBLIC COMMENT/OPPOSITION: None as of the date of this writing (3/10/14). STAFF FINDINGS: The proposed final plat is consistent with the Okaloosa County Comprehensive Plan, Land Development Code and with the Kelly Plantation PUD Master Site Plan amended on May 21, 2013.
