STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request acceptance of the name change for Hatch Mott MacDonald
to Mott MacDonald. (C06-1343-PW, C14-2080-PW, C14-2135-AP)
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: The County has three contracts that were entered into with
Hatch Mott MacDonald (C06-1343-PW, C14-2080-PW, C14-2135-AP). These are consulting
services contracts which are specialized for Public Works and the Airport. Hatch Mott
MacDonald has changed their name to Mott MacDonald. This name change must be accepted by
the Board and noted in the contract files. The name change is intended to expand their ability to
market their services on a larger platform. The change will not affect their services to Okaloosa
County. In addition, there are outstanding invoices that could not be processed due to the name
change. Staff requests authorization for any outstanding invoices to be paid.
OPTIONS: (1) Approve/Deny acceptance of the name change from Hatch Mott MacDonald to
Mott MacDonald. (2) Approve/Deny payment of any outstanding invoices.
RECOMMENDATION: (1) Staff recommends approval of the acceptance of the name change
from Hatch Mott MacDonald to Mott MacDonald. (2) Staff recommends approval of the
payment of any outstanding invoices.
