The Economic Development Council of Okaloosa County is submitting this non-binding Letter of
Intent on behalf of Okaloosa County. Okaloosa County recognizes the site certification process
as a great opportunity and is very interested in obtaining additional information. This letter is to
express the intent to submit county-owned parcels in the Bob Sikes Industrial Airpark in
Okaloosa County for the Gulf Power Industrial Site Evaluation and Certification Program. The
submission of an evaluation application is pending approval of the Board of County
Commissioners at their May 21, 2013 meeting. The site will be submitted as an industrial site.
In submitting this letter, | acknowledge that:

e We have read and understand the minimum criteria for this program.
e We understand that participation in this program is voluntary, and certification is not
guaranteed.
e We understand that the program materials are confidential so we will only distribute them
on an as needed basis to those assisting with the certification process (engineers, etc.)
